May 15, 2025 by admin

The Main Stage at the 44th Annual Marion Popcorn will again feature three nights of free live entertainment, including a tribute to a legendary California band Thursday evening, the American Idol Season 19 Champion on Friday, and Saturday closing out with a heavy metal rock and roll phenomenon with over 15 million records sold worldwide on September 4-6, 2025 in downtown Marion, Ohio.

All headlining bands will perform at 8:30 PM, following 6:00 PM opening bands (Friday and Saturday to be announced later) and the recognition of sponsors during the festival’s Opening Ceremonies.

OUT OF EDEN – A Tribute to the EAGLES, kicks off this year’s main stage headline entertainment on Thursday, September 4.
Presented by Buckeye Community School, Out of Eden is a 7-piece tribute band based out of Northeast Ohio who have replicated the music and vocal harmonies of the legendary Eagles, Don Henley and Joe Walsh. All of the Eagles classic songs are performed with the amazing talent, drive, and skill by the Out of Eden band members. The band includes members Ron White, Jim Rey, John Szymkowski, Chris Wintrip, Bob Beals, Jack Palleschi and Chris Wintrip, Jr.

Out of Eden will perform hits including: Already Gone, Best Of My Love, Desperado, Dirty Laundry, Heartache Tonight, Hotel California, I Can’t Tell You Why, In The City, Life In The Fast Lane, Lyin Eyes, New Kid In Town, One Of These Nights, Peaceful Easy Feeling, Rocky Mountain Way, Seven Bridges Road, Take It Easy, Take It To The Limit, Tequila Sunrise, The Long Run, Victim of Love, Walk Away, Wasted Time, and Witchy Woman.

CHAYCE BECKHAM will be taking the Popcorn Festival Main Stage Friday, September 5.
Three years after becoming the only artist to win American Idol singing his own songs, 19 Recordings/BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville country artist Chayce Beckham is living proof of his belief that “You can’t tell someone how to write a song.”

Scoring nominations at this year’s People’s Choice Country Awards for New Artist of 2024 and CMT Music Awards for his PLATINUM #1 hit single “23,” the fiery singer-songwriter laid out a course only he could follow and today remains even more dedicated to his unique creative compass. A California native schooled on tough times and a mix of country, rock, hip hop and beyond, Beckham started a habit of heart-on-his-sleeve songwriting after some hard times when he felt he had nothing left – and when combined with his warm vocal rasp on “23,” that drive helped him charm the nation on Idol’s 19th season in 2021. With more than 406 million streams and counting, the bluesy and brutally honest anthem debuted at #1 on both iTunes’ Country and All Genre singles charts, and now leads Beckham’s first album, Bad for Me – available now – as the emerging star finds his stride. Co-writing nine of 13 songs (three solo), the project shows Beckham opening his soul like most would never dare and embracing a timeless country-rock sound defined by fiddles, steel guitar, and plenty of against-the-grain attitude. With dusky shades of heroes like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson, the set aims to reinforce next-big-thing and “artist to watch” predictions from CMT, Amazon Music, MusicRow and more. Headlining his own “Bad For Me” tour along with opening for Parker McCollum this fall, Beckham delivers his next Wheelhouse Records single with the effervescent, feel-good track “Everything I Need,” climbing the country radio charts now.

QUIET RIOT will wrap-up the Main Stage entertainment on Saturday, September 6.
Quiet Riot is a rock & roll phenomenon. Famously described as the first heavy metal band to top the pop chart at #1 on Billboard magazine, the Los Angeles quartet became an overnight sensation thanks to their monster 1983 smash album “Metal Health”. QUIET RIOT first signed a record deal with Pasha records in the dawn of the 80’s at a time when radio was dominated by the “new wave” sound. Their hard driving pop metal sound was deemed “out” by record labels so the debut album “Metal Health” was against the grain. Driven by the irresistible double whammy of the rendition of the old Slade chestnut “Cum on Feel the Noize,” and their original song “Metal Health” (Bang your head) the album stormed up the U.S. charts, duly reaching the number one spot and going platinum five times over in the process. Against all odds it jumped over Michael Jackson’s “Thriller and “Synchronicity” by The Police to land in the number one slot on the Billboard album chart. This opened the door for the other Sunset Strip “Hair Metal” bands to get their record deals and kicked off the craze that dominated MTV and radio in the 80’s. The sales of the “Metal Health” album have now well exceeded the 10 million mark worldwide. Quiet Riot went on to have other hits and over a dozen albums and still plays live with a line up consisting of Rudy Sarzo, Alex Grossi, Jizzy Pearl and Johnny Kelly.

Over 15 Million Records Sold Worldwide • METAL HEALTH – The First Heavy Metal Album in History to go to NUMBER 1 on the BILLBOARD TOP 200 Chart • Over 2.8 Million Monthly SPOTIFY Listeners • Over One Million Social Media Followers • The Critically Acclaimed QUIET RIOT Documentary “Well Now You’re Here, There’s No Way Back” recommended by ROLLING STONE and spent 2 years in rotation on SHOWTIME Performing the Hits: • CUM ON FEEL THE NOIZE • BANG YOUR HEAD (METAL HEALTH) • MAMA WEER ALL CRAZEE NOW • SLICK BLACK CADILLAC • THE WILD AND THE YOUNG & MORE…
