Wrist Bands & Ride Ticket Discounts Available Now

Advance Ride Tickets are on sale now

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Marion Popcorn Festival has had to change the locations in which to purchase presale ride tickets.  These deeply discounted ride tickets can be purchased at the Marion Convention and Visitors Bureau, 1713 Marion-Mt. Gilead Road, from 8:00 – 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, September 6 & 7.   They may also be purchased at the Festival’s Information Booth Tuesday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., and again Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The Festival’s Information Booth is located at the corner of Center and Prospect Streets at the bottom of the overpass.

Sheets of 20 tickets are $15.00 per sheet.  That’s a savings of $5.00 per sheet, a significant savings over ticket prices purchased at the Festival.  During the Festival sheets of 20 tickets will be $20, sheets of 40 tickets will be $34, and a sheet of 60 tickets will be $50.  Marion Popcorn Festival organizers are encouraging area families to purchase their ride tickets early for the best bargains.  Only full sheets of 20 tickets will be sold during the pre-Festival sale.

Burton Brothers will be handling the ride attractions at the 31th Marion Popcorn Festival.  All rides and attractions open Thursday at 1:00 and noon Friday and Saturday; various attractions require a different number of tickets.

The Festival will also be having two wristband days, with the wristbands good all day long on Thursday and Friday, September 9 and 10.  Wristbands must be purchased at the Festival for$15 on Thursday and $20 on Friday.  Wristbands are good only for the day they are purchased.  All rides on Saturday will be tickets only.

The Marion Popcorn Festival is the largest popcorn festival in the world with an annual attendance estimated in excess of 250,000 over the three-day festival.  For the full list of activities or if you are interested in Kernel Seats for the entertainment, visit www.popcornfestival.com.  The Marion Popcorn Festival is sponsored in part by the City of Marion.
