Wrist Bands & Ride Ticket Discounts Available
Now at Sky Bank in Marion

Discounted tickets for the Marion Popcorn Festival amusement rides are on sale at all three Marion Sky Bank locations through Wednesday, September 5

Sheets of 20 tickets will be available for a price of $12.00, and only full sheets of 20 tickets will be sold during the pre-Festival sale.  This is a significant savings over ticket prices purchased at the Festival, and Marion Popcorn Festival organizers are encouraging area families to purchase their ride tickets early for the best bargains.  During the Festival, sheets of 20 will be $15; 40 will be $28; and sheets of 60 will be $40.

Burton Brothers will be handling the ride attractions at the 27th Marion Popcorn Festival, and all rides and attractions open each day at 11:00 a.m.  Various attractions require a different number of tickets.

Sky Bank in Marion has three locations where tickets are available:  1200 Mt. Vernon Avenue, 150 South State Street, and 195 Barks Road.

The Festival will also be having two wristband days.  They will be Thursday, from 5:00 – 11:00 p.m. and Friday, noon until 5:00 p.m.  Wristbands may be purchased at the Festival for $15 and are good only for the day they are purchased.

Slated for September 6, 7, & 8, the Marion Popcorn Festival is the largest popcorn festival in the world with an annual attendance estimated in excess of 250,000 over the three-day festival.  Main stage entertainment is:  AC/DC tribute band Hells Bells on Thursday evening; country sensation Blake Shelton for Friday night; and alternative rock group Gin Blossoms on Saturday.  All performances begin at 8:30 p.m. and are free of charge.  Kernel sponsorship seats for the main stage performances are available by calling 740/383-2076.
