Application deadlines are as follows:

Early Bird deadline is Friday, August 20th
and entry fee will be $30.00.

Final deadline is Friday, August 25th, 12 o’clock noon
and entries received AFTER August 14th
will have an entry fee of $40.00.

Photogenic: You may enter your pet in Photogenic ONLY if you prefer. Entry fees for photo ONLY are as follows: Early Bird entries $10.00. Photo only entries must be received by Aug. 25th and will have an entry fee of $15.00.

TROPHIES, AWARDS AND GIFTS WILL BE PRESENTED TO DIVISION
WINNERS IN SWIMSUIT/TEAM SPIRIT, STUPID PET TRICKS AND
FORMALWEAR/DRESS FOR SUCCESS.
ONE OVERALL WINNER WILL BE SELECTED IN EACH COMPETITION CATEGORY.
CONTESTANT WITH HIGHEST COMBINED SCORE FROM ALL THREE CATEGORIES
WILL BE JUDGED AS “BEST IN SHOW‟
PHOTOGENIC AWARDS WILL BE ONE WINNER
IN EACH AGE DIVISION AND ONE OVERALL WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN

“PHOTOGENIC BEST IN SHOW’

Competition will be timed as follows:

Swimsuit/team spirit, 45 seconds.
“Stupid Pet Tricks” , TWO MINUTES MAXIMUM.
Formalwear/dress for success, 45 seconds.

Music will be provided during competition except “Stupid Pet Tricks”. If you need music for ‘talent’
you must provide it yourself and it MUST be on CD. Music must be timed and cut for your specific
needs. Our production crew WILL NOT cut and fade music that day. Remember your time limit!

Bring CD’s day of event. REMEMBER….Bonus points will be awarded for creative use of popcorn
and/or use of Popcorn Festival Theme “Big Pop Sails the Seven Seas”. Handlers on stage with
dogs will be judged and scored on how well you “accessorize” your pet. Your pet won’t perform on command? Don’t worry! Just adlib… make the judges and audience laugh..
Work the crowd. Remember EVERYONE is there to laugh and have a good time.
Don’t forget to ‘dress yourself for success’ during
competition…..the judges will be watching! Get your thinking caps on and get poppin’!!
