MARION POPCORN FESTIVAL

Community Area to Join Craft &
Commercial Location

 MARION, OH –The Marion Popcorn Festival Craft & Commercial Area will growing during this year’s festival.  Chairperson Cheryl Huffman said “Due to the interest expressed by local community churches, schools, and various other non-profit organizations, a new section has been added to the “Craft and Commercial Area”.  This new area is designated as the “Community Area”.”  She also said they expect groups such as school organizations, church groups and other organized groups to take advantage of their new area.  Cheryl also shared that a local church is already sponsoring a baby feeding and changing area within the Community Area.   

The Marion Popcorn Craft, Commercial, and Community area, open 11:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily during the festival, offers festival goers the chance to explore diverse crafts, unique gifts, and commercial products along with visiting the new community booths.  The Marion Popcorn Festival is held September 8^th through September 10^th in downtown Marion.  The festival is sponsored in part by the City of Marion.
